Pet Nutrition Consulting
My mission is to positively affect the animals in our community. I seek to improve animal wellness through herbal support and nutrition.
Available Services:
- Evaluation of feeding plans and commercial diets for healthy pets
- Nutritional recommendations for growth, maintenance, working, and special needs of young, adult, and senior pets
- Customized plans for weight loss
- Evaluation and formulation of home recipes for owners who wish to prepare their own pet diets
- Information and education on the pet food industry and current issues including:
- Commercial diets
- Supplements
- Alternative diets such as raw feeding, organic, grain-free, etc.
Your consultation will be conducted by a Certified Canine and Feline Nutritionist who has worked collectively in both the veterinary and pet food industry for over twenty-five years. A complete nutrition history will be collected from you to help us understand how and what you feed your pet. We welcome all questions you may have about pet nutrition. A detailed support plan will be provided for you and your pet.
Consultations are available by phone, email or by appointment at Bath & Biscuits. There is no charge for general questions or brief consults. Fees are assessed for written consult requests.
NUTRITION CONSULTATION
After completing a nutritional survey on your pet, your questions will be answered and unbiased advice and knowledge will be shared. Follow-up is included to assure success of the plan. Supplements can be recommended if needed for optimal health of your pet.
DIET ANALYSIS
Commercial and/or Home-prepared diets will be analyzed to assure they meet nutritional requirements of AAFCO and NRC for dogs and cats. Up to one hour of time will be dedicated to your feeding plan, answering questions and making recommendations.
